SOFF brings together 400 companies across a wide range of security and defense-related fields, serving as a platform for collaboration, innovation and dialogue between industry, authorities and international partners. The organization also collaborates with corresponding associations in other countries and is a member of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) and the NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG), providing access to international networks and market dialogue.
This supports Catator’s continued focus on developing and commercializing its catalytic technologies for defense-related applications.
“Joining SOFF strengthens our ability to engage with key stakeholders across the defense sector and to contribute where we see a clear and growing need for efficient, compact and low-signature energy solutions. This is an area where our technology is well aligned with emerging operational requirements,” says Tarras Delin, CEO of Catator.
Modern defense operations place increasing demands on reliable and decentralized power generation. Catator’s catalytic technologies enable efficient fuel reforming and energy conversion close to the point of use, supporting improved operational flexibility and resilience.
“Catator broadens SOFF’s expertise in the energy field through its perspectives and experience. We look forward to benefiting from their insights in the association’s work to develop a stronger and more relevant Swedish defense market,” says Robert Limmergård, Secretary General of SOFF.
Through its membership, Catator will engage with industry stakeholders, contribute to ongoing discussions on defense-related energy solutions, and further strengthen its position within the sector.
