Catator to Supply CataLite® Flare to Dynelectro
Dynelectro is developing an advanced system that generates an exhaust mixture of hydrogen and water vapor. After evaluating multiple flame combustion solutions, they have chosen Catator’s newly developed CataLite® Flare—a catalytic system designed for efficient, flameless, and low-emission combustion.
With over 30 years of expertise in catalytic combustion, Catator are pleased to deliver its unique CataLite® Flare system to Dynelectro. The hydrogen and water vapor mixture is fed into a catalytic element that ensures effective combustion with minimal emissions. While hydrogen spontaneously ignites at ambient temperatures, an integrated igniter guarantees reliable operation even in sub-ambient conditions.
The unit stands approximately three meters tall but can be supplied in a more compact version if required. Air is naturally drawn into the system via chimney effect, but forced convection can be added if needed.
For safety and control, the CataLite® Flare includes a manual shut-off valve and an emergency shut-off solenoid valve. The system utilizes Catator’s proprietary CataLite® technology, which incorporates a highly active combustion catalyst within a cylindrical mesh structure. Ignition and combustion are facilitated by the catalyst, and the exhausts are vented through the chimney section. Depending on installation requirements, the unit’s height can be adjusted to allow safe venting of hot exhausts.
