Laboratory Engineer

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, excellent practical skills, and a passion for precision in a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Senior Engineers and Scientists through participation in the design, dimensioning, construction, commissioning and method development phases for new test rigs, lab infrastructure and analysis instruments.
• Performs calibrations, verifications and services on lab and manufacturing equipment and instruments.
• Performs catalyst synthesis, testing and characterization using pre-defined methods.
• Conduct experiments and tests following standardized procedures and protocols.
• Record experimental data, ensure accuracy and reliability of results and assist in analyzing and interpreting test results.
• Compiles results and writes simple reports for in-house stakeholders.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines to ensure laboratory activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests and commissioning of equipment and systems at customer site.
• Manage inventory and purchasing of laboratory materials and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement through identification of areas for process optimization and contribute to improving lab efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
